* EAAs -Essential Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein. EAAs regulate glucose and lipid metabolism and energy balance, increase mitochondrial biogenesis, and maintain immune homeostasis. I think of EAAs as muscle building, for very few calories. Fantastic for keeping muscle while fasting or in a caloric deficit.
